Testimonials
Diana is an exceptional, talented teacher. We have worked with her for over 8 years. She is supportive and patient yet also pushes the kids to achieve their potential. Her instincts are incredible and she always gave us the best advice and guidance. She understands what makes each individual child “tick” and she custom tailors a plan to work on their weaknesses and fortify their strengths. Lastly, she provided invaluable advice for us as parents on a host of topics from homework strategies, extracurricular choices and guidance when applying to private schools. Our children ALWAYS looked forward to their sessions with her! - Hillary

Diana focuses on the individual ability of each child and provides him or her with a personalized learning experience, helping each child become independent learners and confident thinkers. She is always pleasant, encouraging and we could not have picked a better teacher for our children! - Fernanda
Early childhood and elementary school
When our daughter started working with Diana, the focus was on fine motor control, number and letter recognition and patterning. Each session built on the previous one, increasing in both difficulty and skill. There were times when our daughter would be frustrated, but throughout the process, Diana kept the sessions engaging and fun. Our daughter had an excellent foundation when she started kindergarten – she was able to sit and focus on specific tasks, follow directions and recognize basic patterns. It was wonderful seeing our daughter’s confidence grow throughout the year. Diana helped make the transition from preschool to kindergarten a success. - Mini
My 4th grade son was in need of academic enrichment. Diana was very helpful with challenging and engaging my son. She helped him get his love of learning back on track. My 3rd grade daughter was struggling with writing and needed some help. Diana was able to help her improve her writing. -Chrissy
Diana is a true advocate for her clients. On top of helping our daughter with pre-reading skills, tactile mobility, and listening skills, she helped her become more self confident during a potentially difficult time. We recommend Diana to everyone. - Kendall
Diana Singer is a dedicated and talented enrichment teacher. Our boys loved their time with Diana and didn’t view it as work. Diana made learning fun! She clearly loves children. The structure of her lessons created comforting routines for the boys, and her ability to assess their intellectual development was helpful. She was also talented at giving concrete advice about applying to private school in Greenwich. She chose books that they were interested in reading, and they have both become avid readers as a result. - Kristen
Middle and high school
Diana has been a huge help to our middle school age children from 5th to 8th grades with their organizational, writing and study skills. She has been instrumental in making our son and daughter incredibly ready to take on high school. One of my children needed help with the SSAT and ISEE to apply to boarding and private schools in the area and Diana helped her attain high scores. - Bill S.
Our daughter is in the 11th grade now and Diana has taught her organizational and writing skills for 2 years. In that time, her grades have gone from low Bs to an A average. We are now using Diana for enrichment and also as a college consultant. My husband and I are so impressed with her dedication and experience. - Andrea
We live abroad, and come back to the states every summer. Diana has taught our middle and high school children in person and on Skype. She has been getting them ready to do well in the American college educational system when we return. Diana is great with older kids, and they really like spending time with her. She has also improved their writing, comprehension skills and our families understanding of how to succeed in a competitive educational environment. - Laurie C.
After being responsible for our son’s success in 8th grade from teaching him how to write effectively to organizing his desk furniture, Diana is still helping our son in 11th grade! She has gotten him motivated, focused and has advised us on what classes and extra- curriculum activities are best for college. She has started to advise us on colleges and is very knowledgable and patient! - Claire and Boyd G.
Test taking
There is nothing more important for us than our 3 children. Our children’s education is our number one priority and to surround our family with a quality and dedicated enrichment professional that can help them to achieve their full potential in their academics is priceless. When we first hired Diana Singer to help our 7th grader son to study for the ISEE test and to help him with Language Arts, we had no idea how much she would contribute to increase his test taking and writing skills and to help us choose the right College Prep School for him. Diana has an impressive knowledge and understanding of the local schools that we feel contributed immensely to our decision making. Diana’s enrichment program is defined by her professionalism and dedication to each one of her students and we couldn’t be happier. - Camilla Gazal

Mrs. Singer’s help was invaluable in my college application process. Her expertise and knowledge were evident every step of the way, from narrowing down college choices to essays and supplements. I recommended Mrs. Singer to a number of my friends, and those that used her services came away with the same impression. I would gladly recommend her again. - Alex K. (student at McGill University)
Mrs. Singer was very helpful throughout my college application process. From the beginning, she helped me choose which colleges to visit and to narrow down my college choices to fit my preferences. She was great help in preparation for interviews, and in helping me brainstorm ideas for my essays, editing my work, and making sure everything I submitted was of the best quality. Most importantly, she allowed me to take the lead in my applications and pushed me to write about the things that I am passionate about and that are unique to who I am. I loved working with Mrs. Singer!! - Vicky P. (student at Georgetown University)

College counseling: parent perspectives
Mrs Singer is a positive, enthusiastic educator who greatly influenced and lobbied for our son’s subsequent admission and attendance to Harvard University. - Joan & David K.
We found Mrs. Singer in October when our son needed to complete his early common application. His writing was confusing and his common application weak. Our public school was giving him little support. We were so pleased with Mrs. Singer’s dedication and support! We know she helped him significantly with being accepted to his first choice at Georgetown University. - Sharon and Greg C.
