Remote Learning / COVID-19

March 15, 2020: With the recent COVID-19 epidemic and subsequent closure of schools, I have been asked by many parents if I offer remote teaching and enrichment services. For years, I’ve been consulting parents and teaching students electronically both domestically and internationally. As your children are transitioning to learning from home, my remote one-on-one services include:

  • Individualized help with assignments that might be more complicated online

  • Enrichment services to best utilize the time your child is spending at home

  • Creating projects that are tailored for your individual child

In addition, I will be offering all of my usual services, including test and application preparation. My remote services are appropriate for children ages 9 to 18 and parents of children of all ages.

Developing High Achievers

Since 2000, Diana Singer has operated a consulting and enrichment educational business based in Greenwich, Connecticut. She teaches and consults parents and their 5-17 year old children. Her work revolves around helping children to become successful, independent and empowered learners.

Mrs. Singer has a great deal of experience teaching children with a range of learning abilities and holds a masters degree in special education. Consultation topics include understanding and preparing for private school and college admissions, direction and guidance on navigating public and private schools, and strategies for effective and successful parenting.

Lessons are private in each student’s home and are tailored to each student’s individual needs and strengths with an aim of fostering self-confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning. For younger children, sessions focus on early education skills such as pre-reading, focusing, behavior skills, fluency, and tactile development. As the student continues to grow, lessons progress to include reading, math, writing, test taking, and study techniques. Mrs. Singer continues to work with older college-bound students throughout the college admissions process.
